Mindshare's Tracking and Analytics for Children and Families (TACF) is Mindshare's business intelligence and performance management software specifically designed for Child Welfare Case Management. TACF is a generally available, packaged software product that operates as a building block for Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information Systems (SACWIS). TACF is an all inclusive analytics solution that automatically processes millions of data records that span business boundaries in order to produce real-time business intelligence and data analytics. This information is to be used by care management organizations to augment and improve upon existing data warehouse and reporting tools already in place.
TACF is designed to process disparate data sources and is not limited to a centralized data warehouse. For example, TACF consumes data from county school board systems, accounting and financial systems, prevention services data sources, 2-1-1 services and referrals, state and federal medication listings, medication black box warnings, court documents and county sexual offender predator data sources, regardless of location or format. TACF correlates the disparate data to produce a previous, current and predicted synopsis of individual case and child profiles.
With no pre-requisites for 3rd party components, TACF can be rapidly implemented for an immediate ROI. TACF has a complete (and continuously growing) library of modules which include:
| Automated Risk Detection | Missing Children Tracking |
| Quality Assurance | Case Load Management |
| Incident Tracker | Case Notes Analysis |
| Sexual Offender Predator Tracking | Length of Stay and Placement Stability |
| Prevention / Diversion Case Management | Case Transfers |
| Psychotherapeutic Medication Exceptions | Supervisory / Judicial Reviews |
| Abuse in Care | Staffing |
| Permanency | Case Profiling |
| Contacts with Biological Parents | Quality Enforcement |
TACF has an integrated notification module that supports text to speech (TTS) for voice alerts, email, and SMS. Analytical results trigger quality management and escalation modules for proactive response. Additionally, TACF includes a Call Center Operations module with an integrated dialer. This is the Quality Enforcement Work Center that allows care management activities to be tracked for quality by using care management staff to interface with providers about activities that were submitted to the case management system (eg. case notes, progress notes, etc). TACF dashboards are real-time in nature and each support business rule injects. This allows the care management organizations to apply very specific subject matter expertise when modeling information that exists within the case management system.
TACF has an integrated Geo-Spatial Information System (GIS) to provide proximity comparisons; for example, removal episode to placement, placement to school, living arrangement to registered sexual offender, etc.
TACF uses Mindshare's heuristic algorithms to perform a wide array of predictive analytics. Mindshare's Analytical Data Markup Language combined with its Visibility Grid (VGRID) data model, allows TACF to provide unparralled performance and scalability across large scale, mission critical environments.
