Cliff also is a member of the FBI's Infagard program. He is Co-Chairman of the technology sub-committee for the Health Sector Coordinating Council (HSCC) for Homeland Security, and has served on advisory panels for Homeland Security Critical Infrastructure Protection and Health and Human services and has an active Security Clearance.

Cliff is a former board member of Magee-Women's Hospital Physician Health Organization and also served on the advisory committee for the Institute for Management studies. Cliff has guest lectured on critical infrastructure at Robert Morris University and also at the University of Pittsburgh on information technology in healthcare.

Cliff holds CDP (Certificate in Data Processing), a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Communication and Information Systems from Robert Morris University, and also Certificate in Technology Commercialization from CMU.

Cliff's career has included employment with the USAF, Cummins-Allision, United Technologies, DuPont, Merck, and the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
